Who’s Right?

Proverbs 21:2

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts.

How often do you think you’re right? We go about our days with the assumption that we are doing the right thing. When people disagree with our decisions we have to decide if we are right or wrong. 

I have found that the only way to combat self-righteousness is to stay in the word of God. Our hearts can be so deceitful and selfish. We often want things that only benefit us. But God has the final word! He weighs the hearts of men.
