What Kind of Seed Are You?

Luke 8:14

Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

What kind of seed are you? Verse 14 paints a picture of today’s United States in my mind.  We have so many things to distract us… cares, riches and pleasures of this life.  Even though we are richly blessed I sometimes believe we allow the things of this life to stagnate our spiritual growth.  

I encourage you to take a closer look at your life today. What things are keeping you from producing fruit for Jesus?
