We Need Wisdom

James 1: 5 - 8

 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

This life presents so many challenges for believers. Although we can’t see the future we still make decisions in the present that will effect our lives for good or bad. We need wisdom! 

God is the only One Who can truly direct our futures. He knows exactly what will happen so we need to trust Him. However, there are so many people who don’t want God’s way and would rather trust in their human knowledge. It’s amazing how smart we think we are, but in the end we will see that God was right all along.
