We Need to Talk

Isaiah 1: 18 - 20

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.

19

If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;

20

But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

When was the last time you had a really good talk with the Lord? I mean, really sat down with Him and shared your heart, your hopes, dreams and desires? You may say, “Well, He already knows everything about me.” That’s true, but God has a desire to talk with you.  God wants you to talk with Him every day.  It helps increase our faith in Him.  This nurtures a love for Him that can only be achieved by these times of intimacy.

So, as you go through your days, make sure you are spending meaningful time with your heavenly Father.
