Until an Opportune Time

Luke 4:13

“Now when the devil had ended every [a]temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”

I always find this portion of scripture interesting.  Notice, after Satan had thrown every temptation he thought would work against Jesus and failed… he departed.  But don’t miss the last part! “He departed from Him until an opportune time.” 

No matter how many battles we win against the enemy, he will come again.  Just remember, through Jesus, he is always defeated.
