Leviticus 13:45 - 46: “Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.” 'Unclean! Unclean!”
Can you imagine living like this? Every day you lose another piece of your body. Because the disease is so contagious, you must be ostracized from your family and can no longer live in the city. What a sad existence. Today’s world may seem similar. Covid 19 has caused many to quarantine away from their families so that others don’t contract it. However, leprosy, unlike Covid 19, has a deeper meaning: it represents sin. Sin can cause a rift in families too. But most importantly, it causes separation from God. Thank God for the blood of Jesus!
