**Nothing Too Hard for God: Trusting His Power and His Plan (Jeremiah 32:17, 19, 25)**
In moments of uncertainty, when the circumstances around us look impossible, our hearts desperately need a reminder of who is truly in control. The prophet Jeremiah recorded a powerful prayer of awe and surrender that speaks directly to our struggles with doubt. Jeremiah 32:17, 19, and 25 (NKJV) says:
> 17 "Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You... 19 You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings... 25 And You have said to me, O Lord GOD, 'Buy the field for money, and take witnesses!'—yet the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans."
**How often do we need to be reminded of this?**
It is so easy to look at the mounting pressures of life, the brokenness of the world, or our own personal trials and forget just how big our God is. Lord, forgive us for losing sight of Your majesty and for not trusting as much as we should. Truly, nothing is too hard for You. You are awesome! The One who spoke the galaxies into existence is more than capable of handling the burdens we carry today.
**Thank You for Your grace and mercy.**
We take comfort in knowing that God is not only powerful in His work, but perfectly just and merciful in His ways. How often has He held back what we truly deserved? Instead of giving us the full consequence of our shortcomings, He pours out His grace.
**Sometimes, God asks us to do things that don’t make sense.**
Imagine Jeremiah's position: God told him to buy a piece of land just as the invading Babylonian army was conquering the city. From a human perspective, a real estate purchase in a falling city made zero sense.
Yet, God was giving an outward sign of future hope—a promise that His people would one day return and build again. When the Lord calls us to steps of obedience that defy logic, it tests our faith. But thank You, Father, for never leaving us and for giving us the assurance that we can trust You, even when we cannot see the end of the road.
Step out in faith today. Trust His power, lean on His mercy, and obey His voice, knowing the Creator of the universe holds your future securely in His hands.
