The Presence of God

Psalms 16:11

“You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Do you long to be in the presence of God?  Don’t worry, this isn’t a trick question! Some people are afraid to answer this question because they associate the presence of God with death.  When someone dies we say things like, “Now they’re in the presence of God.”

But our Heavenly Father wants us to be in His presence all the time.  We must make a conscious effort to consistently turn our hearts to Him.  He alone is worthy of all the praise.  

Oh that we truly find the fullness of joy in Jesus!
