The ImPlanted Word

James 1:21

“Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.”

Thank God for Jesus! Without Him we would have no real hope of living holy lives. Sin creeps into the lives of even those who have been saved. That is why we must actively lay aside those things that do not edify. We must keep our minds focused on the saving grace of Jesus. As we lay aside the things that hinder us we must replace them with the Word of God.
