The Gift of God

Ecclesiastes 3:12 - 13

“I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.”

Sometimes we may think that God doesn’t want us to be happy.  Living life for Jesus does mean crosses and valleys, but there are also times of rejoicing and laughter. God has given gifts to mankind even though we don’t deserve them.  It blesses me to know that even the best of times on this earth can’t come close to what God has prepared for us in eternity.
