Sweet Contentment

Philippians 4:11

"Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:”

Sweet contentment! Just think how peaceful our lives could be if we learned to be content… not just content when things are going well for us, but through the good and the bad.  

Paul brings out as he is led by the Holy Spirit, that he has learned this valuable lesson. He had learned “in whatever state I am, to be content.”  Now that is a heavy thought!

No matter what situation we are going through, no matter how dark the day may be, with Jesus you can be content.  

What a mighty God we serve!
