Steadfast

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Have you ever felt like giving up? Let’s face it, being a Christian isn’t always easy! Our flesh rises up and wants its’ own way.  We have to deal with the pressures of society and the constant barrage of the world that rages against our souls. The enemy never takes the day off, but thanks be to God for His word! 

Paul tells us to “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”  Why would Paul say this?  He knows that as long as we allow God to work in us, nothing will be impossible for us!

It’s like the story of The Three Little Pigs.  When the wolf came to huff and puff, their house stood firm. You may feel the “huff and puff” of the enemy but God won’t allow you to fail. Keep standing and know that your labor is not in vain.
