Stay Gentle

Philippians 4:5

“Let your [a]gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.”

If we did a survey of your life how would people rate your gentleness? “Gentleness” here can be translated as “graciousness, humility, or forbearance.” For most of us, when we’re in the public eye we try to be gentle, at least until someone pushes us past our breaking point.

But what about when we’re around the people who know us best? Do we let down our guard and just let it “all hang out”? Please know that the Spirit of God wants to be intimate with you, not just in public, but in your home life, where it may be much harder to stay gentle.
