Security in God's Word

Proverbs 1:33 But whoever listens to me will dwell in safety. And will be secure, without fear of evil.

Throughout the book of Proverbs wisdom is consistently compared to foolishness.  Here, within verse 33 God says, by way of Solomon, “Whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure without fear of evil.” This isn’t saying that whoever listens to God won’t have any challenges.  Solomon’s next book, Ecclesiastes shows how we all battle with the vanities of life.

What this verse brings out is that through every situation in our lives, good or bad, we can find safety and security in God’s Word.
