Secret Faults 

 

Psalms 19: 12 - 13

"Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.

13 

Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of [a]great transgression."

 

“What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus!”  As we grow in Jesus we become more aware of our sins.  Yes, we can look very holy to others on the outside, but God knows our hearts.  He knows those secret faults and presumptuous sins.

I agree with David as he cries out “Let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.”

Lord, please make us clean from the inside out!
