Rest For Your Souls

Matthew 11: 28 - 30

"28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am [a]gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

I think many of us are tired. I’m not talking about being tired after a long day’s work or finishing a workout.  I’m referring to a tiredness that seems to dig down into the depths of your soul. As we witness all that is occurring in the world from day to day, these events can definitely push us into a mindset of despair and depression.  

But there is good news!  Jesus says, “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” I encourage you to take a rest in Jesus.  His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
