Rest

Hebrews 4:9

“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.”

We live in a “hurry up and wait” society.  For the most part people are impatient.  We want our food made quickly and we’re always looking for the “new” and “exciting”.  

But all of this impatience comes with a cost: we are constantly tired.  Studies show that Americans are becoming more and more sleep deprived.  We have our phones, tv’s and other screens that stay on 24 hours a day, pushing us to binge.  We never really “turn off”.  

But our Father in heaven wants us to rest.  Please consider how you can rest more in Jesus.
