Rebellion!

Numbers 20:24

“Aaron shall [a]be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the water of Meribah.”

God’s mandates are serious! So often we take His wonderful guidance and mandates for granted.  As we see in the life of Aaron, serious judgement can be the result of not following God’s word. God considers it rebellion when we don’t do what He has asked us to do.  Thank the Lord for Jesus and the grace and mercy He brings.

Let’s strive with all that is in us not to rebel from the Lord.
