Press Toward the Mark

Philippians 3:13 - 14

13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have [a]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

God has given us an awesome calling.  It is so easy to forget that we have been placed on earth for a purpose. The apostle Paul understood with all his being that God had called him out of darkness into the marvelous light.  He sums it up well in verse 14… “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
