Perfect In Christ Jesus

Colossians 1: 28 - 29

“28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.”

We have been called for a purpose.  Paul, here, writes an encouraging letter to the believers to continue to grow in the Lord.  Jesus has died and been resurrected for us so that we can be perfected, or rather brought to maturity, in Him.  This is why God’s word is so important.  As the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth we are transformed more and more into the likeness of Jesus.  The Bible puts it this way… “We go from glory to glory.”

So as we go through the week, let’s celebrate the wonderful work that is taking place inside of every believer.
