Panting After God

Psalms 42:1

"As the deer [b]pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God."

How much do you really want to know the Lord? This scripture gives us a beautiful picture of how much we should long to know the living God.  It is the picture of a thirsty deer searching for fresh water.  It is so good to know that we can run to the true “Well” that will never run dry!
