Our Intercessor!

Hebrews 7: 23 - 25

“Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is also able to save [a]to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

In the many years of pastoring one phrase has often arisen in my heart, “Pray for me.” How many times has someone asked us to pray for them but, with the hustle and bustle of life, we forgot? 

I’m so happy that we have a high priest in Jesus who never ceases to pray for us. He is seated on the right hand of the Father.  What a wonderful and compassionate God we serve!
