Not in Vain
2 Corinthians 6:1
"We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain."
There is an old saying that goes, “You don’t miss your water until your well runs dry.” This saying encourages us to appreciate what we have. We shouldn’t take anything for granted.
Paul the Apostle begs the church at Corinth, as well as believers everywhere, to take the same consideration when it comes to the grace of God. He pleads that “you not receive the grace of God in vain.”
God’s grace is known as His unmerited favor, favor we didn’t earn and will never deserve. This grace empowers us to live more and more like Jesus.
As we go through our days and weeks it is my prayer that we be more conscious of this wonder grace that has been bestowed upon us.
