My Own Heart

Proverbs 18: 1 - 2

“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire;
He rages against all [a]wise judgment.

2 

A fool has no delight in understanding,
But in expressing his own heart.”

Our world is filled with people who desire to follow their own hearts.  The problem occurs when wise judgment is discarded.  Instead we choose to walk down a path of sin and deceit.

Jeremiah 17:9 says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.  Who can know it?”  Thank God for Jesus!  We can give our hearts completely to Him.
