Light in the House

Exodus 10 :21 - 23

21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.” 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

This is the 9th plague god has sent to the land of Egypt to convince Pharaoh to release the children of Israel.  This plague fascinates me!  God commands Moses to stretch his rod towards heaven and a thick darkness descends on the earth, a darkness so thick that it can be felt. This darkness remained for 3 days! The exciting part is that the Israelites still had light where they lived in Goshen.  Go God! There is absolutely no light in Egypt except in the house of God…
