Proverbs 3: 1 - 2

My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;

2 

For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you.

Proverbs is such a great book because it always points to wisdom.  These words from God plead with us “not to forget my law, but let your heart keep my commandments.”  If we consistently hold tight to God’s direction there is another benefit - length of days, years of life!  And another benefit - peace!  Thank You Father for Your word!
