God’s Word: The Apple of Your Eye

Proverbs 7: 1 - 3

My son, keep my words,
And treasure my commands within you.

2 

Keep my commands and live,
And my law as the apple of your eye.

3 

Bind them on your fingers;
Write them on the tablet of your heart.

How much do you love God’s word?  I don’t mean just owning a Bible or memorizing a few scriptures.  How much do you really love the word of God He has left us with? 

Solomon gives us a personification of wisdom and encourages us to “treasure my commands within you.  Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”

Oh that we truly cherish and live the Word of God!
