God Is Love

Song of Songs 8:7

"Many waters cannot quench love,
Nor can the floods drown it.
If a man would give for love
All the wealth of his house,
It would be utterly despised."

 

“God is love.”  So often we take love for granted.  When we grow in the Lord and become more like Him, we begin to “agape”.  That means to love without selfishness.  We love to the glory of God.  We love because that is now who we are in Christ.  Love becomes the motive for all we do!
