Don’t Complain
1 Corinthians 4: 11 - 13
11 To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. 12 And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 13 being defamed, we [a]entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.
We should never complain. Paul was used mightily of the Lord. He wrote a majority of the New Testament, but didn’t live in a fine house or wear fine clothes. He lets us know that he suffered for the sake of the Gospel, but didn’t complain. He trusted in God who was more than enough in both the good times and the bad times.
Oh, that our faith would be rooted and grounded in Christ!
