Don’t Despise the Word

Proverbs 13:13

“He who despises the word will be destroyed,
But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”

How could we possibly despise the Word of God? I believe two major ways are by not applying it to our lives or simply ignoring it all together. Sadly, when we do these things we are only hurting ourselves.  Let’s decide today to study and apply the Word of God to our lives.  After all, “he who fears the commandment will be rewarded."
