Divine Revelation

Galatians 1: 11 - 12

11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Paul the apostle wants to make the source of the gospel crystal clear.  He wants everyone to know that the Word he is delivering is not coming from mere man; the gospel is from Jesus Christ!

The Gospel we have written in these 66 books has been revealed to us by God Himself.  Therefore we must treat it with upmost respect. 

As you go through your week, never forget that God has given us direct revelation through the Bible.  He has also given us the ultimate example of holiness through His Son Jesus!
