Citizenship In Heaven

Philippians 3: 20 - 21

“20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

Where do you live? As we think about today’s scripture, the Holy Spirit lets the believers know where our home is. “For our citizenship is in heaven.”

So often we get caught up with this world.  There are so many nice things in this world. But as we take a closer look we realize that this world is corrupt and passing away.  We should grow in our walk with Jesus and become more and more eager to see our Savior. 

It’s so good to know that this world is not our home.
