Can You Hear Me?

Matthew 15: 21 - 23

Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”

23 But He answered her not a word.

And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

Have you ever gone to the Lord and felt like He didn’t hear you?  I find this story most intriguing because it reveals a side of God we don’t like to acknowledge.  The fact is God’s plans supersede our wants and desires.

The wonderful news is that God is so gracious. We don’t deserve anything from Him, but I am so grateful for even the “crumbs” He allows to fall from the table!
