Blot Out My Transgressions

Psalms 51: 1 - 2

“Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.

2 

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.”

We must face the fact that we have all sinned. Do you realize that only one small sin gives us a ticket to hell for eternity?  The psalmist realizes the gravity of sin and cries out to God for mercy.  

As you go through your day, please stay aware of the price Jesus paid for us so that we could live holy. Now our eternal destination is to live with Him.
