An Enduring Possession

Hebrews 10:34

“for you had compassion on [a]me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your [b]goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves [c]in heaven.”

The faith of the early church amazes me!  They were persecuted by the plundering of their houses. Some were thrown into prison. They joyfully accepted all of this because they realized they had a better home in heaven.  The question is… do we believe the same?
