  • The Summer Reading Challenge is back! It is time for all school-aged students (Pre-K - 12th) to "Get in the Game and Read" for the next 10 weeks!  The reading contest will start June 3, 2019 and end on August 10, 2019. This year we are doing a point system with each child being able to earn 3 points maximum each week of the challenge.  You can earn 2 points by reading one entire book of the Bible each week and/or 1 point can be earned each week by reading an entire non-Bible book that is appropriate for your reading level and speed each week.  So that is a total of 3 points maximum each week: Again 2 points weekly for completing a book of the Bible and/or 1 point for completing an entire non-Bible book each week to equal 3 points. You choose…..will it be 1 point because you read a non-Bible book that week; 2 points because you completed the reading of an entire book of the Bible; or 3 points because you completely read one non-Bible book and completely read one book of the Bible for the week.  To get your points, you must see Anita Woods on a Sunday only of the week that you read your book or books to get your points. (Please note: No points will be given for repeat reading of the same book. And points can only be earned the week that you read the book.)  For every point that you earn, your name will go into a box for a drawing that will occur at the end of the challenge. Two winners will be chosen, one guy and one girl, to get 2 back to school outfits and 1 pair of shoes of your choice plus school supplies. Additionally each winner will get an all expense paid dinner of their choice with Pastor Woods and his family too.  The last Sunday to collect points from Anita Woods will be Sunday, August 11th. The winner will be announced on Sunday, August 18th and on Saturday, August 24th, Mr. Tyrone Woods will take the winners shopping for 2 outfits, 1 pair of shoes, and school supplies. So have fun reading!!!!! It doesn't matter if you are a slower reader or have trouble with your comprehension......Just Read! Parents, please see Angela Howard if your child has a special reading challenge that needs to be taken into consideration. WE want every child to have a fair chance to participate in this Summer Reading Challenge!!!!

  • Combined Fellowship and Communion Service:  The 8 o'clock service is growing and our 11 o'clock service continues to be well attended.  However, we realize that these separate service times keep some extended families from worshiping together. As such, we have decided to add a quarterly Combined Fellowship and Communion Service.  This service will include Worship, Communion, Prayer/Altar Call, and two short Sermons from our Ministers. The next scheduled service is August 18, 2019 at 6:00 PM.

  • Bible Study is offered multiple times during the week here at Ebenezer.  We have Monday and Wednesday evening Bible Studies and an additional Bible Study on Tuesdays at Noon.  However, there are many people who desire to attend one or all of these Bible Studies but can't because they do not have any transportation.  If you already attend one of these Bible Studies and have time and room in your vehicle to allow someone else to ride along with you, please contact the Transportation Ministry and they can connect you to a person desiring a ride.  It is all about Each One, Reaching One!
  • The Feed the Hungry Ministry would like to request those who have Big and Tall Clothing, especially size 13 or 14 shoes that they no longer need or fit, to please see Brother Winstead or any members of the Feed the Hungry Ministry.
  • The Nursery is available for children ages infant to 4 years old during the 11 AM Worship Service only.  If you are interested in volunteering in the Nursery, please contact D'Etta Winstead or stop by the Nursery and sign up on the board.
  • Did you miss a Service and/or Wednesday Night Bible Study or just want to hear it again? Videos of all Services and Wednesday Night Bible Study Sessions are available by clicking here.
